For my originals, I work in a number of mediums. Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, Encaustic, Intaglio etching, Engraving, Collographic, Digital Paint & Mixed Medium (Mixed Medium is where I combine the various mediums in one painting.) Like the cave man before me I beleave that anything that makes a mark can be used to create a visual message. Growing up in rural Nova Scotia nature, had a profound effect on what I needed to paint and it has remained with me to this very day.
All large mixed medium, Oil On Canvas & Collage On Hard Board paintings are framed in a sturdy custom hard wood profile specialy milled for our gallery. Custom colors that compliment each piece have been carefuly selected.
Original paintings on stretched canvas must be placed in wood crates for shipping long distances.
We will find the most echinomical shipping method to your destination and provide a quote for shipping.
Crating and framing costs are included in the purchase price.
Original Oil On Paper & Original Collagraphs are shipped unframed in a large diameter maiing tube.
(Crating and shipping large framed prints with glass is cost prohibitive, shippers will not insure art with glass) Once you receive your original print or oil on paper you can have it framed locally ( a suggested framing specification sheet is provided with each print to get you started) The money saved on shipping charges can be used to greatly reduce the cost of framing.
